Lilly of the valley stamps

For a long time now I have been a scrapbooker and really had left cardmaking by the wayside until I discovered these beautiful christmas stamps by lilli of the valley.I love the idea of stamping the images and then setting to with the promarkers to make the images come to life. With such beautiful stamps to work with anyone could produce beautiful cards and tags for christmas.

Halloween fun

Halloween fun is here again...
Halloween represents the change in the weather, darker nights and the countdown to christmas.
My favourite time of year by far is autumn, cool mornings and fresh brisk walks, golden falling leaves and wellies.
As always a must is a halloween party with friends .
Good fun was had by all.

North West Cat Show

So the question is, is she chocolate or not!
What a day we had at the cat show yesterday. Our beautiful Columbia's debut was a bit of a disaster as the show judges could not agree on what colour she actually is...CHOCOLATE OR BLACK?
Looking at this picture I would say she is clearly chocolate , a dark shade granted but none the less chocolate... Four independent show judges disagree and refused to judge her.
So now to the gccf to decide.

Clearly our new beautiful boy wont have the same said about him as there can be no disputing he is indeed Cream..
We are happy to introduce Hudson Honcho the newest member of our feline family to the fold .

Sadly this week Domino lost all her 5 babies and was terribly ill herself with masitis and had to spend several da ys in hospital. She on the mend now and relaxing quietly and we hope that this wont be the end to her mothering role and that she will produce healthy beautiful blue babies in the future. Thank you to all the friends and breeders who have offered support this week I truely appreciate it.

Gorjus obsession

My new obsession are these beautiful stamps from Suzanne Woolcott..
Scrapbooking is my passion and the card making has fell by the wayside..until now..
What could be more theraputic than colouring and stamping..like being a young child again.
Pro makers are my untensil of choice and Impress inks to prevent runs and bleeds.
Im looking forward to following this designer and her delightful images for a long time to come. Follow the Gorjus link to see more of her work.

One Year One

Today is a very poniant day as a year ago today Dad had his original surgery which marked the begining of the end...

Last weekend I went to Wales to visit the grave and redo dads flowers ready for upcoming fathers day. It was a beautiful day and Sandra and I had a long walk and a good chat over the events of the last twelve months.

Dad has a fantastic view over the welsh hills and you can see him clearly from the road, I could see hid flowers well down the hill. It seems to have been a blur, painful and a long haul...
All I can hope is dad is at peace ...Miss you ever day.

New family addition..

Welcome our new baby Columbia
She's is due to join us July 12th and we can't wait.
We have been in search of a chocolate female sorthaired for ages and at last she will be coming home with me very soon.
We will hopefully add her to our breeding programme and have beautiful babies to share next autumn.Already Columbia is showing her personality and fun spirit , I hope the felines here are ready for her...

Columbia has a wonderful loving family whom are looking after her well until we can collect her.. Thanks Nancy. xx

Dominos show debut

Domino has done us proud today and we love her so much.
The day began with a veting in session at the Robin Hey Sports Centre in Wigan , a very early start, which after a problem with the sat nav we still managed to get there in time.
Domino behaved like a true pro even if she did seem a little reluctant to begin with but soon settled down and took it in her stride.
The show hall was very busy everyone pampering and preening a sight to see I can tell you. There were so many beautiful cats there and a sheer delight to be surrounded by people whom share our passion.
After an anxious wait we returned to the hall only to have to wait further for results.
Domino proudly gained a 2nd placing in the open class and a 2nd place in the self class. Considering the competion we are pleased with that so well done my baby,

All you need is magic

Finally I can see the clearing with a shimmer of light and hope.
For the last month I seem to have settled into a dark place and hibernated for the cold snap.
At last I can plan and have direction and purpose.
With a little help from my friendly pixie and giving myself a good talking to its time ,,
so watch me fly.

No mans Land

What is this unimaginable sorrow....?
My darling father Graham Harrison sadly passed away with his family by his side on monday 11th January 2010 at approx 8,45pm.
My sorrow is indescribable and my loss enormous what little girl ever wants to be without her daddy............ even at my age he is still ever present in my life and always will be.
Funeral will be a closed family affair giving him the dignity and beloved send off he deserves .
Daddy I will love you forever ... my hero .......

Winter Wonderland

What a wonderful picture postcard we woke up to this morning , during the night the snow fairy have visited and left us a beautiful white blanket.
As I sit here now gazing out the window it is heavy snow and on the floor at least 9/10 inches thick.!!
The upside is now work or school and fun and games for the children. What a wonderful photo opportunity some wonderful pics to scrap.
